Project Artworks – Wills & Trust Seminar

29th January 2020

Project Art Works is the UK’s leading artist led organisation for children, young people and adults with complex support needs. Their programmes and projects help provide freedom and purpose through art.

Following the success of our Decision Making seminar with them in September 2019, Philip Warford has been invited back to present the Wills and Trust seminar to their peer support network to talk about planning for the future to help protect loved ones with disabilities.

This seminar will help families to make decision and plan for how they will provide for their children after they have gone. Philip discusses why some families need more than a Will when you have a disabled son or daughter.

Philip explains that by using a Discretionary or Disabled Persons Trust, inheritance can be left to them that won’t affect their means-tested benefits or leave them financially at risk.

Subjects covered:

  • How to protect a person with disabilities using Wills and Trusts
  • How to choose Guardians for minor children
  • How to choose Executors and Trustees
  • The use of Letters of Wishes
