Renaissance Legal will be joining Carers Support West Sussex to provide a Wills and Trust seminar to parents of children with disabilities. Carers Support West Sussex provide support to 32,000 registered in the region. With support groups, response line, help with equipment, counselling and more.

Our Wills and Trust seminar provides advice to families who have children with disabilities or vulnerabilities. It covers crucial measures for parents and grandparents to plan for the future when they are no longer around.  Philip Warford, from Renaissance Legal explains why a Will is sometimes not enough in these circumstance.

Philip talks about how by using a Discretionary or Disabled Persons Trust, inheritance can be left to a son or daughter with disabilities without it affecting their entitlement to means-tested benefits or leave them financially vulnerable.
