Scott has over 35 years’ experience in the fiduciary services industry and founded Renaissance Trust with Philip Warford in 2022.
Scott’s extensive experience includes the creation, management and termination of UK trusts, charities and private client affairs. Before setting up Renaissance Trust, Scott ran his own independent trust company , and prior to that had secured a wealth of trust and tax related experience gained through previous employment with leading firms.
At Renaissance Trust, Scott advises individuals, families and professional clients and works with a network of business referrers and contacts based all over the UK. He has particular specialism in UK resident trusts, Trusts for children, asset protection and the outsourcing of trust administration.
Scott is a member of STEP and the Institute of Financial Accountants. He is also the current Chief Executive of TACT – The Association of Corporate Trustees and received the STEP Founder’s Award for Outstanding Achievement in 2019
In his spare time, Scott enjoys getting muddy on his mountain bike in the South Downs National Park and going to the theatre.
